The Grassroots Hub

History in the making

Currently under construction at Kitley, about 10 mins outside Plymouth, our new outdoor hub will be a unique facility for activities and events. Our growing area will allow veterans to plan, plant, nurture and harvest their own produce while a skills/meeting centre will be a venue for courses, craft sessions and meetings. A covered firepit is sure to be a popular tea drinking destination and the site itself is well positioned for some attractive estuary and countryside walks.

Case Studies

Veterans Outdoors works with veterans and those still serving, harnessing the proven therapeutic benefits of outdoor activity to improve wellbeing. Each personalised programme leads directly to the NHS 5 Steps to Wellbeing: connecting with people, being physically active, learning new skills, giving to others and taking notice of the world around you.
