Tilly Lambert-Lee – Trustee, Veterans Outdoors

Tilly Lambert-Lee is a passionate advocate for the armed forces community, with a wealth of experience leading engagement, fundraising, and strategic initiatives across the military charity sector. With multiple roles at a variety of military charities, Tilly has built a strong track record of championing veterans and their families, helping create opportunities for recovery, reconnection, and renewed purpose.

Currently the Regional Director for the South West at the Army Benevolent Fund, she manages a broad portfolio of counties delivering high-impact events, building deep community relationships, and ensuring veterans’ needs remain at the heart of every campaign.

As part of a military family herself, Tilly brings personal understanding and unwavering commitment to her role. She believes in the transformative power of nature, activity, and shared experience, and sees Veterans Outdoors as a vital pathway for veterans to regain confidence, purpose, and belonging.

Through her work as Trustee, Tilly is proud to contribute her insight, energy, and deep-rooted belief in service to help Veterans Outdoors grow its fundraising efforts, reach and impact.

 

Nick Wood OBE – Trustee

Nick Wood OBE – Trustee

Nick brings organisational development and transformation experience having been a management with PwC for the past six years. Prior to that he was an infantry officer retiring as a Colonel during which he led teams on operational tours of Iraq and Afghanistan, the Balkans and Northern Ireland.

Nick also brings experience as the Chair of School Governors, a trustee of the Friends of Salisbury Cathedral School, as a volunteer disaster responder with the charity REACT and as a Mental Health First Aider.

Nick has a BA in History and a MA in Military Studies from Cranfield University. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.

Nick lives in Wiltshire where his love of the outdoors combined with living amongst veterans aligns with his role as a trustee.

Kelly Mullane

Kelly Mullane

Kelly Mullane – Trustee 

Kelly Mullane is a Senior Vice President at Northern Trust, a preeminent global financial institution that provides asset servicing, investment management and wealth management services for institutions and high-net-worth individuals. Previously she held various at Goldman Sachs and Barclays Capital.

From 2000 to 2007, Kelly served in the British Army, attaining the rank of Captain. She served extensively as a military interpreter including two operational tours in Iraq, where she was the British Army spokesperson for the Arabic media. Kelly received a BA in Arabic Studies from Exeter University, a post graduate Certificate of Education from the University of Wales and a Master of Business Administration degree from The Open University in London.

Kelly is married with two children and enjoys travel, baking, scuba diving and Peloton.

 

Charles Weston-Baker – (Interim Chair of Trustees)

Charles Weston Baker(Interim Chair of Trustees) After 11 years in the Queens Royal Irish Hussars, where his duties included establishing a tank force for the Sultan of Oman, Charles moved to the commercial sector and held senior roles with Bovis, P&O and Savills. He has 30 years of development, consultancy, sales and marketing experience with residential and leisure projects.

Nick Griffiths MBE, Trustee

Nick Griffiths MBE, Trustee

Nick Griffiths MBE, Trustee. Nick served for 26 years in the Royal Marines before retiring in 2016. He has intimate experience of the military medical system and is a trained coach and SSAFA mentor. He has provided a sympathetic ear, guidance and advice to dozens of veterans who have transitioned successfully to civilian life after physical and mental injury.
