We combine outdoor activity, emotional resilience training and one-to-one support as part of a programme of long-term care tailored for each beneficiary. Whether a veteran has suffered combat or service-related trauma, illness, difficulties in private or family life or is simply struggling to cope with life after service, we’ll help them to get oast whatever they feel is holding them back.
Veterans Outdoors works with veterans and those still serving, harnessing the proven therapeutic benefits of outdoor activity to improve wellbeing. Each personalised programme leads directly to the NHS 5 Steps to Wellbeing: connecting with people, being physically active, learning new skills, giving to others and taking notice of the world around you.
